For His Glory

I reworded the last phrase of my Psalm 150 blog. As I read it, after posting, my mind and heart automatically transformed that last phrase and I knew it was a significant change. All of creation offers up a symphony of praise to our God and our King, not for the simple pursuit of praise but the passionate pursuit for His Glory. From Genesis to Revelation His Glory is proclaimed and is fully on display. He spoke – and the whole earth was filled with His Glory as the deep darkness was saturated with the Light. He speaks to hearts of all mankind today so that His Glory may be revealed in the darkness of their souls, and out of this transformation the Light of His Glory explodes throughout the whole earth. Indeed, it is not the pursuit of praise but the passionate pursuit for His Glory that gives light and life and power to the praises that go on, and on, and on. “Holy, Holy, Holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of His Glory!” Amen and Amen

The LORD our God has shown us His Glory and His majesty, and we have heard His voice from the fire. Today we have seen that a man can live even if God speaks with Him. Deuteronomy 5:24

Declare His Glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples. 1 Chronicles 16:24

Blessed be His glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with His Glory. Amen and Amen. Psalm 72:19

The heavens proclaim His righteousness, and all the peoples see His Glory. Psalm 97:6

The LORD is exalted over all the nations, His Glory above the heavens. Psalm 113:4

Praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is exalted; His Glory is above earth and heaven. 148:13

Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of His Glory. Isaiah 6:3

They will fear the name of the LORD from the west, and His Glory from the rising of the sun, for He will come like a rushing stream which the wind of the LORD drives. Isaiah 59:19

See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and His Glory appears over you. Isaiah 60:2

Behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the way of the east and His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with His Glory. Ezekiel 43:2

His Glory covered the heavens and His praise filled the earth. Habakkuk 3:3

When the Son of Man comes in His Glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. Matthew25:31

“Whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His Glory, and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.” Luke 9:26

The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His Glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

He is the radiance of His Glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Hebrews 1:3

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His Glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all times and now and forever. Amen Jude 1:23-25

Psalm 150 ~ The Symphony

A single trumpet call resounds within the Sanctuary, emanating from the citadel of Heaven itself! The sounding of the trumpet proclaims: "Our God is powerful! Our God is greater than any other!"

Joining the blast of the trumpet is the gentle and soothing music of the harp coupled with the jingle of the tambourine in the hands of dancers - dancers wholly abandoned to the worship of our powerful and mighty God. They converge from North and South and East and West – from Every People, Every Tongue, Every Tribe, Every Nation!

Stringed instruments crescendo, and then decrescendo as the flautists’ clear, precise notes draw hearts to the feet of the One who alone is worthy of all praise.

Loud, brilliant cymbals resound as myriad upon myriad voices throughout all of Heaven and Earth, throughout all eternity proclaim the greatness of our God and King.

Undulating worship declares His power and His unsurpassing greatness,
and the passionate pursuit for His Glory continues on, and on, and on.

LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH
PRAISE THE LORD!
